Q:First of all, congratulations on winning the contest. What prompted you to enter? A:Honestly, I did it on a whim. I was online one day, looking for a job actually, when I read about the contest. I made my video never thinking I'd win. I found out I was a finalist the same day I landed a job – which was a wonderful surprise. Q:Were you familiar with our Cotton Jingle when you entered the contest? Did you know it by heart? A:I actually did know the jingle! I've heard various versions of it in commercials ever since I was little — I practically grew up with it. Q:You have a really beautiful voice. Is singing your thing? A:Well, I've always loved music. My dad, who's an amazing musician, taught me the basics on the piano at a young age and I still play. I do write music occasionally, mostly lyrics, and sing. But I'm pretty shy, so when I do sing it's usually just in front of family and friends. Q:In your video, you said you love cotton socks. What are your other cotton faves? A:I'd have to say my everyday look is fairly casual. I wear cotton v-necks pretty regularly, and I love the look of a long cotton scarf as an accessory. But during the summer I wear a lot of cute cotton dresses. Q:Do you have a style icon? A:Natalie Portman. She just has such a casual confidence about her – especially off the red carpet. And she makes it look effortless.
