Exercise your right to look fabulous this season by toning up your body—and flaunting all the latest fall fashions. It’s easy with these get-fit tips and the flattering fit of all-natural cotton. |
Tone your calves. For beautifully sculpted calf muscles, stand tall with your feet together, heels touching and toes pointing out at a 45 degree-angle. Put your hands on your hips and slowly raise your body weight to the balls of your feet. Squeeze your calves at the top of your lift, then release your legs back to the floor. Do 12 reps, three times a week.Flaunt it with fall fashion. Mid-calf skirts are all the rage this season. Their timeless, hip-hugging shape is both feminine and powerful, but be sure to opt for all-natural cotton for a flattering, hourglass fit and then pair with killer heels to really show off your sculpted calves. Trim your waistline. In order to lose inches from your waist, you want to get serious about your cardio. Bicycling, walking, running—any activity that increases your heart rate will help you burn calories and body fat. Aim for at least 20 minutes of cardio, three times a week.Flaunt it with fall fashion. A fitted blouse will definitely show off your trimmed-down tummy. The feminine, Victorian-style blouse with prim ruffles is a hot item this fall, but to make the look really work, tuck it into straight-leg, cotton trousers or jeans. Look fab from behind. The simple chair squat is a derriere-toning staple. Just stand with
feet hip-width apart and squat as if you’re sitting in a chair. Keeping your back straight,
abs tight and knees behind your toes, hold for five seconds and then stand back up.
Do 5 sets of 10 reps, three times a week.Flaunt it with fall fashion. Think slim chic when it comes to fall pants. Body-conscious, jean-cut styles will create a sleek shape in front—and give kudos to your newly toned derriere. Whether you prefer dark colors, metallics or brights, always select natural cotton for comfort and ease of movement, as slim pants made from synthetic fabrics can be constraining. |
