Easter Bunny Craft

From Cotton Wash Cloth
to Cotton Tail Decoration

For Easter, we wanted to include a craft project that built on our growing number of napkin and towel folds. After a lot of experimentation, we found this adorable and easy-to-do instructions from the mistress of craft Sherri Osborn. (For more about Sherri and her wonderfully creative craft projects, click here Sherri Osborn.
For this project you will need:

- Terry Wash Cloth(Any color)
- Rubber Band
- Cotton Pom-Poms
- Felt (for eyes)
- Cotton Ribbon
- Craft Glue
- Scissors

Start out by laying the wash cloth flat on your work surface. Fold up one of the corners so it looks like a triangle.

Beginning at the top, hold the two pointed edges together, tightly roll the cloth as shown.

Now, fold the rolled wash cloth in half as shown.

Fold the wash rag in half again as shown.

Hold the folded wash rag tightly and carefully wrap the rubber band around the end with the second fold. The rubber band should be a little closer to the folded edge, which will be the bunny’s head.

Set your wash rag down on your work surface and
‘fluff’ out the ears, which are on the opposite side of
the rubber band on the bunny’s head.

Now you can glue felt eyes in place along with a small cotton pom-pom for the bunny’s nose. A small bow made from the ribbon can be glued just in front of the ears to hide the rubber band. If you prefer, you can wrap the ribbon around the rubber band.

Finally, glue a 1-inch cotton pom-pom onto the back of the bunny's body to its cotton tail.

Once all the glue is dry, the bunny is ready for display.
